Easterlies, localized thunderstorms prevail across Philippines
Warm easterly winds from the Pacific Ocean and localized thunderstorms are expected to bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers over Metro Manila and the rest of the country, PAGASA said Wednesday.
In its 24-hour forecast, the weather agency said isolated rainshowers should be expected mostly in the afternoon or evening.
It also warned affected residents of possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
The Easterlies are also affecting the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao.
Meanwhile, the PAGASA synoptic station at the Science Garden in Quezon City reported a minimum temperature of 24.5°C at 6 a.m. and a maximum temperature of 33.4°C at 3:10 p.m. — Joahna Lei Casilao/BM, GMA News
