LPA to bring cloudy skies, scattered rain showers to parts of Luzon
A low-pressure area (LPA) is expected to bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Cagayan Valley, the Bicol region, Aurora, Quezon and Northern and Eastern Samar, according to PAGASA on Sunday afternoon,
In its 4 p.m. bulletin, the weather bureau said the LPA was located 540 kilometers east of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan at 3 p.m.
Localized thunderstorms, meanwhile, may bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers mostly in the afternoon or evening in Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
PAGASA advised affected residents to prepare for possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Moreover, the weather agency said light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal water conditions will prevail in Northern Luzon, Central Luzon and the rest of the country. — Ma. Angelica Garcia/BM, GMA News
