PAGASA: LPA to bring scattered rainshowers, thunderstorms over 5 areas
A low pressure area is expected to bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over the Eastern and Central Visayas, Caraga, Northern Mindanao, and Davao Region, PAGASA said Wednesday.
As of 3 p.m., the LPA was estimated at 110 kilometers southeast of Davao City, Davao del Sur.
In its 24-hour forecast, the weather agency warned affected residents of possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, localized thunderstorms may bring partly cloudy to cloudy skise with isolated rainshowers over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
Flash floods and landslides are also possible, PAGASA said.
The PAGASA synoptic station at the Science Garden, Quezon City also reported a minimum temperature of 25.6°C at 6 a.m. and a maximum temperature of 33.1°C at 1 p.m. — Joahna Lei Casilao/RSJ, GMA News
