ITCZ to bring cloudy skies, scattered rains over MIMAROPA, Visayas, Caraga


An Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will be affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao on Friday, PAGASA reported.

MIMAROPA, Visayas, and Caraga Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms brought about by the ITCZ with the possibility of flash floods or landslides occurring during severe thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms. The weather bureau warns that flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed forecast for Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao is light to moderate moving in the east to southeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

The rest of Luzon wind speed forecast is light to moderate moving in the southeast to southwest while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
