Cloudy skies, scattered to widespread rains over Bicol Region, eastern Visayas due to the LPA


The Low Pressure Area (LPA) early Tuesday morning was estimated at 310 kilometers east of Virac, Catanduanes, PAGASA reported.

Bicol Region and eastern Visayas will have cloudy skies with scattered to widespread rains and thunderstorms brought about by the LPA. Flash floods or landslides in these areas may occur due to moderate to occasional heavy rains.

Metro Manila, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Zamboanga Peninsula, and the rest of the Visayas will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms also due to the LPA with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur during severe thunderstorms.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers mostly in the afternoon or evening due to localized thunderstorms and flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

The wind forecast for Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao is light to moderate moving in the southwest to west direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

For the rest of Luzon, the wind forecast is light to moderate moving in the east to northeast while coastal waters will remain slight to moderate.
