PAGASA issued a yellow rainfall warning over Zambales at 11 a.m. on Sunday as some areas will have heavy rains due to the southwest monsoon (habagat).

San Marcelino, San Antonio, Castillejos, Subic, and Olongapo will have 7.5 to 15 mm of heavy rain in one hour which may possibly continue for the next two hours.

Flooding may occur, PAGASA said, as it warned residents to monitor the weather condition.

Meanwhile, the following areas will have light to moderate with occasional heavy rains:

  • Metro Manila
  • Tarlac
  • Bataan
  • Pampanga
  • Cavite
  • Batangas
  • General Nakar in Quezon
  • Guimba, Talugtug, Cuyapo, and Nampicuan in Nueva Ecija
  • Hagonoy, Paombong and Malolos in Bulacan
  • San Pedro, Biñan, Santa Rosa in Laguna
  • Cainta, Taytay, Angono, Binangonan, Cardona in Rizal
  • rest of Zambales

Tropical Storm Enteng and a low pressure area are both enhancing the southwest monsoon.
