ITCZ to bring rainshowers, thunderstorms over 8 areas

The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) is expected to bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Visayas, Mindanao, the Bicol Region, the provinces of Aurora, Quezon, Mindoro, Marinduque, and Romblon, according to PAGASA.

In its 24-hour forecast, the weather agency warned affected residents of possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate with, at times, heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon may, meanwhile, experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA said flash floods and landslides are also possible during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the PAGASA synoptic station at the Science Garden, Quezon City recorded a minimum temperature of 25.1°C at 6:30 a.m. and a maximum temperature of 32.3°C at 1 p.m. —LDF, GMA News
