LPA to bring scattered rains over Visayas, Mindanao

A low pressure area (LPA) located east of Davao City will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Visayas and Mindanao on Monday, PAGASA said in its early morning forecast.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon meanwhile will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.

Flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

At 3 a.m., the LPA was located at 175 km east of Davao City in Davao del Sur.

Coastal waters will be slight to moderate throughout the country.

Sunrise will be at 5:45 a.m. while sunset will be at 5:58 p.m. —KG, GMA News
