In its 24-hour forecast, the weather agency warned affected residents of possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
As of 3 p.m. Friday, the LPA was estimated at 150 kilometers east of Casiguran, Aurora.
Meanwhile, the monsoon and localized thunderstorms may bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers over the rest of the country.
Flash floods and landslides are also possible, the weather agency said.
