Yellow rainfall warning up over Zambales —PAGASA
A yellow rainfall warning has been raised over Zambales, while light to heavy rains are expected in different parts of the country, according to state weather bureau PAGASA.
In a 2 p.m. advisory on Sunday, PAGASA said that yellow warning suggests a possible flooding in low-lying areas and near river channels.
Meanwhile, moderate to at times heavy rains are expected in the following areas:
- Metro Manila
- Pampanga
- Bulacan,
- Rizal
- Bataan (Morong, Dinalupihan)
- Laguna (Mabitac, Pakil, SantaMaria, Famy, Siniloan, Pangil, Cavinti, Pagsanjan, Magdalena)
- NuevaEcija (San Leonardo, Penaranda, Gapan),
- Tarlac(Bamban, Capas)
- Cavite (CaviteCity)
- Quezon(Alabat, Perez, Mauban, Tayabas, Pagbilao, Lucena, Sariaya)
PAGASA added that light to moderate with occasional heavy rains may be experienced in Batangas and other areas of Bataan, Laguna, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, Cavite, and Quezon.
“The public and the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Offices concerned are advised to monitor the weather condition and watch for the next advisory to be issued at 5 p.m. today,” PAGASA said. —LBG, GMA News
