Habagat to bring rain, thunderstorms over Palawan

The southwest monsoon is expected to bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Palawan, according to PAGASA on Saturday.

In its 24-hour forecast, the weather agency warned residents of possible flash floods or landslides due to scattered moderate with, at times, heavy rains.

Cloudy skies with rain showers may also prevail over the Ilocos Region, the Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, and Central Luzon due to the northeasterly surface wind flow.

Flash floods and landslides are possible, according to PAGASA.

Meanwhile, localized thunderstorms may bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

PAGASA warned residents of possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
