Amihan to bring light rains to Ilocos, CAR, Cagayan Valley

The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) affecting Northern Luzon will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region and Cagayan Valley on Tuesday, PAGASA said in its forecast.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country meanwhile, which are being affected by the easterlies, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms mostly over the eastern section.

Flooding or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

Coastal waters will be moderate to rough in Northern Luzon, with waves reaching up to 4 meters.

The rest of the country’s seaboards, meanwhile, will have slight to moderate seas.
