Cloudy skies over Eastern Visayas, N. Mindanao, nearby areas due to Tail-end of a Frontal System, easterlies

The Tail-end of Frontal System (Shear Line) will be affecting the eastern section of Visayas while the northeast monsoon will be affecting Luzon on Wednesday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.

Eastern Visayas, Northern Mindanao, Davao Region, and CARAGA will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms brought about by the Tail-end of a Frontal System (Shear Line) and easterlies with possible flash floods or landslides due to light to moderate with at times heavy rains.

Palawan, the rest of the Visayas and the rest of Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms and the easterlies with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon but this will have no significant impact.

Luzon and Visayas will have moderate to strong wind speed moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

Mindanao will have light to moderate wind speed moving in the northeast to north direction while coastal waters will remain slight to moderate.

The sun will rise by 6:02 a.m. and set at about 5:24 p.m. -- BAP, GMA News
