Northeast Monsoon to bring rains over Northern Luzon

The Northeast Monsoon is expected to bring cloudy skies with rains over Batanes and the Babuyan Islands, PAGASA announced Saturday.

In its 24-hour forecast, the weather agency warned affected residents of possible flash floods or landslides during moderate and heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country may, meanwhile, experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains or thunderstorms due to the Easterlies or warm winds from the Pacific Ocean.

Flash floods and landslides are also possible during severe thunderstorms, PAGASA said.

Meanwhile, the PAGASA synoptic station at the Science Garden, Quezon City recorded a minimum temperature of 24.5°C at 6:30 a.m. and a maximum temperature of 30.8°C at 12 p.m. -MDM, GMA News
