CAR, Cagayan Valley to have scattered rains due to tail-end of frontal system

The Cordillera Administrative Region and the rest of Cagayan Valley will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and isolated thunderstorms on Monday due to the tail-end of a frontal system (Shear Line) affecting the eastern section of Northern Luzon, PAGASA said in its 4 a.m. public weather forecast.

Flash floods or landslides may occur during times of moderate to heavy rains.

Batanes and Babuyan Islands meanwhile will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon affecting the rest of Northern Luzon.

The Ilocos Region will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains also due to the monsoon.

Eastern Visayas, Caraga and the Davao Region will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the easterlies. Flash floods or landslides may possibly occur during moderate to heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country meanwhile will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies, with the possibility of flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Coastal waters will be moderate to rough in Northern Luzon, with waves reaching up to 4 meters.

Elsewhere in the country, coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
