Cloudy skies, rains over parts of Luzon due to the tail-end of the Frontal System, amihan
The tail-end of a Frontal System will be affecting the eastern section of Central and Southern Luzon while the effects of the northeast monsoon will be felt in northern Luzon, PAGASA reported in it early morning forecast.
Visayas, Bicol Region, Caraga, Northern Mindanao, CALABARZON, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and Aurora will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms brought about by the tail-end of a Frontal System. Flash floods or landslides may occur in these areas, PAGASA added, during moderate to heavy rains.
Metro Manila, Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Central Luzon will have cloudy skies with rains due to the northeast monsoon. Flash floods or landslides may occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
The Ilocos Region will be partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon but with no significant impact.
The rest of the country, meanwhile, will be partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms and the possibility that flash floods or landslides occurring during severe thunderstorms.
Wind speed forecast for the northern and eastern sections of the country is moderate to strong moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
The rest of the country will have light to moderate wind speed moving northeastward while coastal waters will remain slight to moderate.
