Northeast Monsoon to bring light rains over Batanes, Babuyan
The Northeast Monsoon is expected to bring cloudy skies with light rains over the Batanes and the Babuyan Islands, PAGASA said Wednesday in its 24-hour forecast.
According to the weather agency, the Amihan has no significant impact on the areas affected.
Meanwhile, warm winds from the Pacific Ocean called the Easterlies and localized thunderstorms are expected to bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
PAGASA warned affected residents against possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Its synoptic station at the Science Garden, Diliman, Quezon City also recorded a minimum temperature of 23.8°C at 6:10 a.m. and a maximum temperature of 30°C at 12:10 p.m. — Joahna Lei Casilao/BM, GMA News
