Amihan to bring cloudy skies, rains to Cagayan Valley, CAR, Aurora, Quezon


Northeast monsoon or amihan will be affecting northern and central Luzon on Wednesday, PAGASA reported.

Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Aurora and Quezon will have cloudy skies with rains due to northeast monsoon with possible flash floods or landslides occurring due to light to moderate with at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to a localized thunderstorm with possible flash floods or landslides due to severe thunderstorms.

Northern Luzon will have moderate to strong wind speed moving northeastward with moderate to rough coastal waters.

Visayas and the rest of Luzon will have moderate to strong wind speed moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

The wind speed for the rest of the country is light to moderate moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will remain slight to moderate.
