Amihan to bring cloudy skies, light rains over northern Luzon


The northeast monsoon or amihan is affecting Northern Luzon on Friday, PAGASA reported.

Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, and Quezon will have cloudy skies with light rains brought about by the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.

Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides due to severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed in the eastern section of the country will be moderate to strong moving in the northeast to east direction while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the northeast to east direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
