Amihan affects Extreme Northern Luzon, easterlies to bring isolated rains over rest of country

The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) is prevailing over Extreme Northern Luzon while the easterlies are affecting the country's eastern section on Monday, PAGASA said in its early morning forecast.

Batanes and Babuyan Islands will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country meanwhile will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms.

Flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

Coastal waters will be slight to moderate over the seaboards in Northern Luzon and the rest of the country.
