LPA to bring cloudy skies, scattered rains over parts of north Luzon
The Low Pressure Area (LPA) early Friday morning was estimated at 80 kilometers southeast of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur as the northeast monsoon will be affecting extreme northern Luzon, PAGASA reported.
Visayas, Caraga, Northern Mindanao, Zamboanga Peninsula, Bicol Region, MIMAROPA, and CALABARZON will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the LPA with possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to at times heavy rains.
Batanes and Babuyan Islands will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorm with possible flash floods or landslides due to severe thunderstorms.
The northern and eastern sections of Luzon, and the eastern section of Visayas wind speed forecast is moderate to strong moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
Mindanao wind speed is light to moderate is moving in the southeast to east direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
The rest of the country will have light to moderate wind speed moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
