Rainshowers, thunderstorms to prevail over Metro Manila, rest of country

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms are expected to prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country due to the easterlies, PAGASA said on Friday.

In its 24-hour forecast, the weather agency warned against possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Easterlies are warm winds from the Pacific Ocean.

Meanwhile, the PAGASA synoptic station at the Science Garden, Diliman, Quezon City recorded a minimum temperature of 24.7°C at 6 a.m. and a maximum temperature of 31.5°C at 11 a.m.—Joahna Lei Casilao/LDF, GMA News
