PAGASA: Isolated light rains over Luzon, Visayas due to northeast windflow

Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Ifugao, Mountain Province, and Aurora will experience cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeasterly windflow, PAGASA said Monday afternoon.

In its 24-hour forecast, the weather agency said the weather condition will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon, and Visayas.

Meanwhile, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers will prevail over Mindanao due to localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA advised affected residents to prepare for possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Further, moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal water conditions will prevail over Northern Luzon, while light to moderate winds and slight to moderate waters will be experienced in Visayas, the rest of Luzon, and Mindanao.

The PAGASA synoptic station at the Science Garden in Quezon City also reported a minimum temperature of 24°C at 6 a.m. and a maximum temperature of 33.8°C at 2:58 p.m.
