Isolated light rains to prevail over Batanes, Babuyan Island

The northeasterly surface windflow is expected to bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Batanes and the Babuyan Islands, PAGASA said Friday.

According to the weather agency’s 24-hour forecast, the windflow has no significant impact on the affected areas.

Warm winds from the Pacific Ocean called the Easterlies and localized thunderstorms may also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

PAGASA warned against possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
