ITCZ to bring cloudy skies, scattered rains over Bicol Region, MIMAROPA, Visayas, Mindanao


The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will continue to affect Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao while the effects of the easterlies will be felt in the rest of Luzon, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.

Bicol Region, MIMAROPA, Visayas, and Mindanao will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms brought about by the ITCZ with possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to the easterlies / localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Palawan will have light to moderate wind speed moving in the southwest to south direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

Wind speed in the Visayas and the rest of Luzon will be light to moderate and moving in the east to southeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

Mindanao will have light to moderate wind speed moving in the southwest to northwest direction while coastal waters will remain slight to moderate.
