Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers, thunderstorms over Luzon due to Amihan
The northeast monsoon will bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over parts of Luzon, state weather bureau PAGASA said on Friday afternoon.
In its 24-hour forecast, Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, and Southern Quezon will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Mindanao, MIMAROPA, and the rest of Visayas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
The rest of Luzon and Metro Manila will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains but this will have no significant effect.
Wind speed forecast for northern Luzon will be moderate to strong while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
For the rest of Luzon, the wind speed forecast is light to moderate with slight to moderate coastal waters.
Visayas and Mindanao will experience light to moderate wind speed while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
