PAGASA: LPA to bring rains over parts of Visayas, Mindanao
A low-pressure area will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Visayas, Caraga, Northern Mindanao, and Zamboanga del Norte, PAGASA said Tuesday.
In its daily weather bulletin, PAGASA said the LPA was located 45 kilometers southeast of Tagbilaran City, Bohol at 3 p.m.
PAGASA advised affected residents to prepare for possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to, at times, heavy rains.
Meanwhile, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will prevail over the rest of Mindanao due to localized thunderstorms.
Flash floods or landslides are also possible during severe thunderstorms.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon.
Further, moderate to strong wind and moderate to rough coastal water conditions will be experienced over the northern and eastern sections of Luzon and the eastern section of Visayas, while light to moderate winds and slight to moderate waters will prevail over the rest of the country. — Ma.
