Bicol, Eastern Visayas, Palawan to get rain due to LPA, shear line
Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas and Palawan will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to a low pressure area and the shear line, PAGASA said Wednesday.
In its daily weather bulletin, PAGASA said the LPA was located 115 kilometers west of Puerto Princesa City, Palawan at 3 p.m.
PAGASA advised affected residents to prepare for possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to, at times, heavy rains.
Meanwhile, localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the rest of Visayas and Mindanao.
Flash floods or landslides are also possible during severe thunderstorms, PAGASA said.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon.
Further, PAGASA said it spotted a new LPA 705 km east of Borongan City, East Samar.
Moderate to strong wind and moderate to rough coastal water conditions will prevail over the northern and eastern sections of Luzon and Visayas, while light to moderate winds and slight to moderate waters will be experienced over the rest of the country. — Ma. Angelica Garcia/BM, GMA News
