LPA to bring cloudy skies, scattered rains over Camarines, Quezon


At 3 a.m. on Friday, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated at 205 kilometers east northeast of Virac, Catanduanes as the northeast monsoon will be affecting northern and central Luzon, PAGASA reported.

Camarines Provinces and Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms brought about by the LPA with possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to northeast monsoon with no significant impact.

Visayas and Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Northern Luzon will experience moderate to strong wind moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

The wind speed for western Visayas and the rest of Luzon will be slight to moderate moving in the northeast to east while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

Mindanao and the rest of Visayas will experience slight to moderate wind speed moving in the north to northwest direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
