Northeast Monsoon to bring light rains over Luzon, Visayas
The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) is currently affecting Luzon and Visayas and will cause light rains over Luzon and Visayas on Sunday, PAGASA said in its early morning forecast.
Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Aurora, and the northern portion of Quezon including Polillo Islands will have cloudy skies with light rains.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon and Visayas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.
Meanwhile, Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms. Flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.
Coastal waters will be moderate to rough, with waves reaching up to 4 meters tall, in the seaboards of Luzon, Visayas and the eastern section of Mindanao.
The seas will be slight to moderate in the rest of Mindanao.
