ITCZ to bring cloudy skies, scattered rains over Davao Region


The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will be affecting southern Mindanao on Wednesday, PAGASA reported in its early morning weather forecast.

Davao Region will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms brought about by the ITCZ with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the ITCZ and/or localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Extreme northern Luzon will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
