Cloudy skies, scattered rains over Visayas, Mindanao due to shear line
The shear line will be affecting the Visayas and the northeastern portion of Mindanao on Saturday while the northeast monsoon will affect Luzon, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.
Visayas and Mindanao will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms brought about by the shear line with possible flash floods or landslides due to scattered light to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Cagayan Valley, Aurora and Quezon will have cloudy skies with light rains due to northeast monsoon with no significant impact.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.
The wind speed forecast for Luzon, Visayas, the northern and eastern sections of Mindanao is moderate to strong moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
The rest of Mindanao will experience light to moderate wind speed moving northeastward while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
