Amihan to bring cloudy skies, rains over Batanes, Babuyan islands
The northeast monsoon or amihan will cloudy skies, rains over parts of northern Luzon on Saturday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.
The Batanes and Babuyan Islands will have cloudy skies with rains brought about by the northeast monsoon with possible flash floods or landslides due to scattered moderate to at times heavy rains.
Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon but with no significant impact.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Northern Luzon residents will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
Central Luzon and the eastern sections of Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving northeastward while coastal waters will remain moderate to rough.
The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the northeast to north direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
