Northeast Monsoon to bring light rains over Ilocos, CAR, Cagayan Valley

The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) continues to affect Northern Luzon on Monday and will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over the Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), and Cagayan Valley, PAGASA said in its early morning advisory.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country meanwhile will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies. Flash floods or landslides may result during severe thunderstorms.

Coastal waters will be moderate to rough over the seaboards of Northern and western section of Luzon. Waves may reach up to 2.5 meters tall.

As for the rest of the country, the seas will be slight to moderate.
