Shear line to bring cloudy skies, scattered rains over Caraga, northern Mindanao, Davao
The shear line will be affecting the eastern section of Mindanao while the northeast monsoon or amihan will be affecting Luzon and Visayas on Thursday, PAGASA reported.
Caraga, northern Mindanao, and Davao Region will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms brought about by the shear line with possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to at times heavy rains.
Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Ifugao, Mountain Province, Aurora, Quezon, Camarines Provinces, and Catanduanes will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.
Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon, and Visayas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.
The rest of Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorm with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
The wind speed forecast for Luzon, Visayas, and the northern and eastern sections of Mindanao is moderate to strong moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
The rest of Mindanao will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
