Cloudy skies, scattered rains over Bicol, Calabarzon due to the shear line
The shear line will be affecting the eastern section of southern Luzon on Friday while the northeast monsoon or amihan will affect the rest of Luzon, PAGASA reported.
Bicol Region and Calabarzon will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the shear line with possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to at times heavy rains.
Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Aurora will have cloudy skies with rains due to the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.
Visayas and Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms brought about by localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
The wind speed forecast for northern Luzon is moderate to strong moving northeastward with moderate to rough coastal waters.
The rest of the country will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving northeastward while coastal waters will remain moderate to rough.
