PAGASA: Trough of LPA to bring cloudy skies, rains over Caraga, Eastern Visayas
Weather bureau PAGASA on Saturday said the trough of a low pressure area (LPA) would bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Caraga and Eastern Visayas, while the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) would affect Northern and Central Luzon.
According to PAGASA’s 4 p.m. weather forecast, Cagayan Valley, the Cordillera Administrative Region, Aurora, and Quezon will experience cloudy skies with rains caused by Amihan.
Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, and the rest of Central Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.
Meanwhile, the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
The wind speed forecast for the rest of the country is moderate to strong while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
