Northeast Monsoon to bring light rains over Cagayan Valley, other parts of Luzon
The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) is affecting Luzon and Visayas on Monday and will bring light rains over Cagayan Valley and other parts of Luzon, PAGASA said in its weather forecast.
Cagayan Valley, Aurora and Quezon will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the monsoon.
Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon, and Visayas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains brought about by the monsoon.
Mindanao meanwhile will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms. Flash floods or landslides may result during severe thunderstorms.
Coastal waters will be moderate to rough in the seaboards of Luzon, Visayas, and the northern and eastern section of Mindanao, with wave heights reaching up to 4 meters.
The seas will be slight to moderate in the seaboards in the rest of Mindanao.
