Aurora, Quezon to have scattered rain showers due to shear line

The provinces of Aurora and Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms on Sunday due to the shear line affecting the eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon, PAGASA said in its weather forecast.

Flash floods or landslides may occur due to moderate to heavy rains.

Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, and the rest of Central Luzon on the other hand will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) affecting Northern Luzon.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms. Flash floods or landlides may result during severe thunderstorms.

Coastal waters will be moderate to rough in the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao, and slight to moderate in the rest of the country.

Sunrise will be at 6:21 a.m. while sunset will be at 6 p.m. —KG, GMA News
