Cloudy skies, rains over Davao, Caraga, Samar provinces due to shear line, trough of LPA
The shear line will be affecting the eastern section of Visayas on Tuesday while the northeast monsoon will be affecting Luzon and the rest of Visayas, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.
Davao Region, Caraga, Samar, eastern Samar and northern Samar will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms brought about by the shear line with the trough of the Low Pressure Area (LPA) with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, Quezon and the Bicol Region will have cloudy skies with rains due to the northeast monsoon with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon and the rest of Visayas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.
The rest of Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the trough of LPA with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Northern and Central Luzon will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
The eastern section of Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao will experience moderate to strong moving northeastward while the coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
The wind speed forecast for the rest of the country is light to moderate moving in the northeast to east direction while coastal waters will be light to moderate.
