Cloudy skies, rains over Aurora, Quezon due to shear line
The shear line will be affecting the eastern section of central and southern Luzon on Saturday while the northeast monsoon or amihan will affect northern Luzon and the rest of central Luzon, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.
Aurora and Quezon will have cloudy skies with rains due to the shear line with possible flash floods or landslides due to frequent moderate rains.
Caraga will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms brought about by the easterlies with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, and the rest of central Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Wind speed forecast for northern Luzon, eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao will be moderate to strong moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving northeastward while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
