Cloudy skies, scattered rains to prevail over eastern section of the country due to easterlies

Cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms will prevail over the eastern section of the country due to easterlies, weather bureau PAGASA said on Wednesday.

According to PAGASA’s 4 p.m. weather forecast, Eastern Visayas, Caraga and Davao Region will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to easterlies.

It also warned of possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Both the forecast wind and coastal water conditions for extreme Northern Luzon will be moderate.

The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed while coastal waters will be slight to moderate. — Richa Noriega/VBL, GMA News
