LPA trough to cause scattered rain showers over Eastern Visayas, Caraga, Davao

The trough or extension of a low pressure area (LPA) will bring cloudy skies, scattered rain showers and thunderstorms on Saturday over Eastern Visayas, Caraga and the Davao Region, PAGASA said in its weather forecast.

The weather disturbance is affecting the eastern part of Mindanao.

Flash floods or landslides may result during times of moderate to heavy rains.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms.

Coastal waters will be slight to moderate throughout the country.

Sunrise will be at 6:11 a.m. while sunset will be at 6:05 p.m. —KG, GMA News
