Cloudy skies, isolated rains to prevail over parts of the country due to easterlies

The easterlies will affect Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, weather bureau PAGASA said on Friday.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to easterlies and localized thunderstorms, according to PAGASA’s 4 p.m. weather forecast.

PAGASA warned of possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the wind speed forecast for Northern and Central Luzon is light to moderate moving north to northeast while coastal water conditions will be slight to moderate. 

The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speeds moving east to northeast while coastal waters will be slight to moderate. — Richa Noriega/VBL, GMA News
