ITCZ to bring cloudy skies, scattered rains over Mindanao, Palawan
The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will be affecting Mindanao while the easterlies will affect the rest of the country on Wednesday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.
Mindanao and Palawan will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms brought about by the ITCZ with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Luzon and Visayas will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the east to southeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
The wind speed forecast for Mindanao is light to moderate moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
