ITCZ to affect parts of Mindanao – PAGASA
An intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) will affect parts of Mindanao, weather bureau PAGASA said Saturday.
Based on PAGASA’s 4 p.m. weather forecast, Caraga and Davao regions will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms caused by the ITCZ. This may result in possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Batanes, meanwhile, will have cloudy skies with rains due to a frontal system.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by easterlies or localized thunderstorms.
Further, the wind speed forecast for Northern Luzon is light to moderate, while the coastal water conditions will be slight to moderate.
Light to moderate wind speeds will be experienced by the rest of the country, with slight to moderate coastal water conditions. —Giselle Ombay/VBL, GMA News
