North Luzon, Vis-Min will have rains due to frontal system, ITCZ —PAGASA

The frontal system will be affecting extreme northern Luzon, while the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will prevail over Visayas and Mindanao, state weather bureau PAGASA said Sunday.

In its 4 p.m. weather bulletin, PAGASA said that Batanes will have cloudy skies with rains brought about by the frontal system.

On the other hand, Mindanao, Central and Eastern Visayas will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ.

PAGASA warned of possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms.

Flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed forecast for northern Luzon is light to moderate moving south to southwest, while coastal water conditions will be slight to moderate.

The rest of the country will have light to moderate wind speeds moving southeast to south with slight to moderate coastal water conditions. —LBG, GMA News
