PAGASA: Frontal system to bring rain over the Babuyan Islands, Batanes, Ilocos Norte

A frontal system was expected to bring cloudy skies with rain over the Batanes, the Babuyan Islands, and Ilocos Norte, PAGASA announced on Monday.

In its forecast, the weather bureau warned affected residents of possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to, at times, heavy rain.

Meanwhile, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms would prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country .

Flash floods or landslides were possible in these areas due to moderate to, at times, heavy rain.

The wind speed forecast for extreme northern Luzon was light to moderate moving northeast, while coastal water conditions would be slight to moderate.

The rest of the country would have light to moderate wind speeds with slight to moderate coastal water conditions. — DVM, GMA News
