Southwest Monsoon to continue bringing rain showers over parts of the country
The Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) continues to affect Central and Southern Luzon on Monday and will bring rain showers over several areas in the country, PAGASA said in its weather forecast.
Metro Manila, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, and Mimaropa will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the Habagat.
Flash floods or landslides may result due to moderate to heavy rains.
The rest of the country meanwhile will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the monsoon and localized thunderstorms. During severe thunderstorms, flash floods or landslides may result.
Coastal waters will be moderate to rough in the western section of Luzon, and slight to moderate elsewhere in the country.
