LPA spotted off Central Luzon, Habagat to bring rains across the country
A low pressure area (LPA) has been spotted in the waters off Central Luzon, according to PAGASA on Friday.
Based on its 4 p.m. bulletin, the state weather bureau said the LPA was seen 1,210 kilometers east of Central Luzon at 3 p.m.
The LPA and the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Calabarzon, Mimaropa, the Bicol Region, and Eastern Visayas.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will be experienced in Metro Manila and the rest of the country due to the Southwest Monsoon and localized thunderstorms.
Forecast wind speeds across the country will be light to moderate while coastal water conditions will be slight to moderate.
The sun will rise over Metro Manila at 5:43 a.m. on Saturday. —Sundy Locus/VBL, GMA News
